Road to Recovery
I want to praise all the staff for their professionalism and care during my rehabilitation at the Santa Ynez Valley Recovery Residence. Following my surgery in Santa Barbara, I was in tremendous pain. The Santa Barbara Rehabilitation declined me for rehabilitation and therapy because my pain was so tremendous I could not participate in their program.Thankfully, Father Bob had me taken to the Recovery Residence. Years ago, when it was called the Lutheran Home, I had visited the sick and dying patients here. It is now called the Santa Ynez Valley Recovery Residence and it is open to everyone.
Everyone understood my pain. The physical and occupational therapists worked with me, slowly and gently at first, then more as I could tolerate it, for six weeks. All the staff was compassionate, and I am now back home at my beloved San Lorenzo. Thank you to the therapists and staff at the Recovery Residence.

Attention, Republican Party
Please take my name and address off of your rolls. I am not one of you. I registered Republican only so I could vote for Ron Paul in the primary election.I am repulsed by both the Republican and Democratic parties, but as of late your Republican party seems worse than the Democrats. Your choice to make the country suffer just to make Obama look bad is outrageous. Your interfering with women’s sexuality is draconian, and your treatment of one of the few honest politicians, Ron Paul, is atrocious.
Your surveys are loaded with misleading questions designed to give you talking points to make you look good. I will not participate.
Both parties have sold out to corporate money and do not represent the citizens of this country, and your party is on the leading edge of this sell out.
You claim to stand for freedom, but you take away individual’s freedoms while you deregulate rules for corporations so that they can take away even more individual’s rights.
There is no integrity in politics any longer. Truth is your enemy and you live on lies. Perhaps that is why you cannot tolerate Ron Paul. Whether you agree with his ideas and conclusions, you must admit that he is honest, and you don’t seem to be able to tolerate that. Therefore, I cannot tolerate you.
Again, please take my name and address off of your rolls.
