Music on the GreenCommunity concert series, Thursday evenings throughout the summer. Featuring an all-natural beef, chicken and vegetarian barbecue, including side salads, melon, drinks and more. New Frontiers will be hosting an old-fashioned Ice Cream Social, with free ice cream for all. Thursday, July 5Maverick Saloon concert featuring Chris Shiflett and the Dean Peasants (from the Foo Fighters) plus the Wil Ridge Band opening the night. 8 p.m. Tickets are only at the door $5, first come first served. The Hayloft Grill is open for dinner from 5-8 p.m.
Saturday, July 73rd annual Arts on the Avenue event in Buellton. 11-4 p.m. Admission is free to this festive gathering of artists and artisans, complete with fine art, handcrafts, and a cool blues band. Delicious food and drink and activities for all ages.

Wednesday, July 18Midsommer Musik Free concerts throughout downtown in addition to regular monthly features, including Farmers Market, wine and beer walk, scavenger hunt plus savings on shopping, dining and activities. 5 p.m. at Solvang Park with JT and the Zydeco Zippers playing Cajun, New Orleans Dance party music. Bring chairs or a blanket, favorite food and beverage. 9 p.m. the party moves to Solvang Brewing Company, where Cadillac Angels will be playing until midnight. Aug. 4 and 5Valleystock, a Santa Ynez Valley celebration, music festival and fundraiser, will be held out at Live Oak Camp. Currently there are 10 bands scheduled to perform, with more being added weekly. Any local musicians or groups interested in donating their talent and time to this charity event use the contact information below. The Santa Ynez Elks will be providing BBQ dinners Sat-Sun with a Sunday morning breakfast. Price per adult is $60, which includes admission to Live Oak (camping optional), all meals, live music.
