Kevin Moore, a longtime resident of the Santa Ynez Valley passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at his home in Buellton, Calif. Kevin attended SYVUHS and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, enlisting in 1983. Kevin owned and operated Valley Outfitters in Buellton for the last seven years.
Kevin was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He leaves behind his wife Suzanne, children Lauren and Ian Moore, mother Myrna Moore of Santa Ynez, father Brian Moore of Phoenix, Ariz., and sisters Tracy (Mike) Quiroga and Cathie (Rick) Parker. Kevin was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and was especially a father figure to Brian and Justin Erickson.
A memorial Funeral service was held Sept. 8 at the Loper Funeral Chapel in Ballard.
In lieu of flowers the family has set up a memorial account in Kevin Moore’s honor at Santa Barbara Bank & Trust. All donations will benefit Kevin’s wife, Suzanne, and his two children, Lauren and Ian Moore.
