This Valentine’s weekend, you are sure to fall in love all over again at the Black and White Gala and Auction in Solvang. That is, if you are a horse lover, you are sure to fall in love with the beautiful, Sport Horse colt, a Gypsy Vanner and Quarter Horse cross, from Cielo Celeste Farm; just one of many live auction items up for bid this year.
The auction supports the Tuition Assistance Program and arts and science at The Family School, an independent preschool through fifth grade school.
Cielo Celeste Farm is world renowned for their magnificent, select band of unique and fine quality gypsy cobs; the sizes range from 14hh to their latest stallion, a strong 16h1.” Celeste Huston is a horsewoman who has dedicated her life to the horse from a small child to the present, more than 50 years in the training-breeding-showing-foaling-buying and selling of horses; she has for the past eight years been breeding the gypsy cob as well as standing her AQHA stallions.
“When you discover the Family School, you know in your heart that this is what your child deserves; the beauty of the campus, the warmth of the community, the academic challenge designed with your individual child in mind. Every child deserves this chance, and the Gala makes it possible for 30% of our families,” according to Nitsa Telesco, whose daughter has been at The Family School for eight years.
More Valentine’s magic will be in the air with exclusive tickets to the Magic Castle in L.A. Serenade your significant other with a Stratocaster signed by Robert Cray. Enjoy the harp music of She’s the Band as you bid on romantic massages, flowers, a blown glass heart, local restaurants or even a romantic get-away vacation. But it is not all candy and roses. The Mission City Brawlin Betties roller derby team will be on skates helping everything go smoothly.
