CAPA and the Lompoc Animal Shelter are located at 1501 W. Central Ave. Adoptions can be done from 10 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturdays.
Suzie

Suzie is so eager to meet all dogs (she knows no fear). Sometimes she gets in over her head when more than one large dog greets her at the same time. JD has been with the shelter for one month and has since put on a little needed weight and his fur has grown back. JD is something spectacular. He is wonderful with everyone (humans and other dogs). We have yet to hear JD bark. Overall he is a mellow, but happy boy.

Dynasty is beautiful with brilliant blue eyes. He likes attention and is quite partial to head rubs complete with hair sculpting. Harlequin is beautiful, friendly and loving. In a home environment, she is social and seeks out human companionship. Her previous two owners had high praise for her, but their resident cats attacked her. Rather than fighting back, she stayed hidden and only came out when the other cats were sleeping or absent. In our open cattery, she keeps to herself and stays busy watching lizards, birds and gophers from inside. When she is not spotting wildlife, she is an avid napper. Harley is microchipped.
