has a new upscale boutique, ZaraBella, stocked with
stylish clothes for babies and children.
ZaraBella, at the former site
of Laura’s Trading Company, 453 Atterdag Road, is
open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It
features labels such as Kissy Kissy, ME TOO, Cachcach, Mish Mish, Mimi and
Maggie Kumquat.

Mixer in Buellton
The
Buellton Chamber of Commerce will host its March mixer at Buellton Self
Storage, 711 Jonata Park Road, on March 19 from 5 to
7 p.m.
Scandinavian
Inn lays off a score
The
Royal Scandinavian Inn in Solvang recently laid off a
score or more employees, citing restaurant remodeling as the reason.
The
inn has been owned by the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians since early 2007,
and includes the Meadows restaurant.
Officials of the inn repeatedly were said to be
unavailable for comment when the Valley Journal inquired about the layoffs and
would not confirm the total number of employees who lost their jobs.
