Zach’s doing O.K.
Zach,
the 70-pound Australian shepherd critically injured when he was hit by a car,
is mending nicely, owner Bev Walter, says.
In
a story in last week’s Journal, Zach’s encounter with a hit-and-run driver was
described as being on Highway 154. The accident occurred on Highway 246 near
Walter’s Santa Ynez home.
Zach’s
vet, Dr. Bob Dean, told Walter on Sunday that Zach is definitely on the mend.
“He’s eating well,” Walter said gratefully.
