Jim Richardson for mayor
Jim Richardson is seeking election as mayor of Solvang.
His focus is on secure water for Solvang, providing a
community of recreational and walkable parks and persevering the city’s core to promote tourism.
Richardson, a successful Utah and California businessman
for more than 35 years, has served on the board of the Santa Barbara County
Association of Governments, and on the board of the Santa Barbara Air Pollution
Control District.
He was a member of the 2000 Solvang Planning Commission,
and the 2005 Parks and Recreation Commission.
Richardson is also a member of the Solvang Chamber of
Commerce, the Solvang Vikings, the Elverhøj Museum,
and the Santa Ynez YMCA, where he can be seen daily exercising to stay fit.
