Free flicks on Friday

The Wildling Art Museum’s Free Friday Flicks for July 3 will screen the film “Home,” at 7:30 p.m. in the museum gallery at 2928 San Marcos Ave. in Los Olivos.

The movie is a newly released film directed by the award-winning French aerial photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, well-known for his book, “The Earth from Above.”

Arthus-Bertrand creates a breathtaking ode to planet Earth, an aerial voyage that captures the interdependence of the world’s ecosystems and the bruises left behind by human indifference. From the agricultural revolution to our ever-increasing reliance on oil, narrator Glenn Close examines the changes that have wreaked havoc on our home, urging viewers to preserve the Earth’s remaining natural treasures.

Doors open at 7 p.m. The museum also provides free popcorn and cookies, water, soft drinks and wine.  For more information or directions, call (805) 688-1082 or consult the Web site at www.wildlingmuseum.org.
