Doreen Farr, Third District County Supervisor, will host a community meeting at 7 tonight at the Grange Hall in Los Olivos to share information and hear residents’ concerns about local issues, including the growth of wine-tasting rooms, development plans for Mattei’s Tavern, infrastructure needs and other community issues.

Topics to be covered are the Valley Community Plan information about Los Olivos, a status update on the Saarloos and Mattei’s Tavern projects, a discussion of infrastructure needs, including wastewater disposal in the commercial core area, and the implications of Assembly Bill 1470, on Los Olivos. The law took effect Jan. 1 and allows wineries’ off-site tasting rooms to sell customers wine by the glass or bottle.

The first 45 minutes of the meeting, which is expected to run till 9 p.m., will consist of staff presentations and the remainder of the meeting will allow for questions and comments from the audience. Grange Hall is located at 2374 Alamo Pintado Ave.
